Stala var den første i verden som lagde mønster i overflater av rustfritt stål. Disse mønstrene skapes ved hjelp av en moderne og miljøvennlig laserteknologi som kan overføre designerens visjon til rustfritt stål.
Vi har hatt æren av å samarbeide med verdensberømte designere. Disse samarbeidene har resultert i unike StalaTex-kolleksjoner.
Det første kreative samarbeidet mellom Stala og den finske designeren Harri Koskinen startet i 2019.
“Dette handler om å bringe mer varme og komfort inn i folks hjem. Nysgjerrighet rundt en ny teknikk skapte nytt designet. Mønstrene tar utgangspunkt i kontraster, geometri og assosiasjoner til miljøet, noe som kan oppleves i den ferdige kolleksjonen. Målet med kolleksjonen var enkelhet og overføring av håndtegnet geometri til overflaten på det rustfrie stålet. Scene står for en visjon som er realisert i en personlig og menneskelig kolleksjon.
Utgangspunktet for designarbeidet var å tilpasse seg til en ny teknologi og å skape en ny generasjon rustfritt stål – verdens første. Det var en stor glede å begynne å skape noe helt nytt, med utgangspunkt i Stalas årelange utviklingsarbeid. Sluttresultatet ble en kolleksjon som brakte overflater i rustfritt stål inn i en helt ny æra.”

I 2022 lanserte Stala et nytt designsamarbeid og kunne ønske Gert Wingårhd velkommen blant Stalas venner.
“Nå som da er hånden og en kulepenn Gert Wingårdhs primære verktøy. En flyktig tanke blir raskt til en skisse på en serviett eller et stykke papir. Arbeidet med mønsterkolleksjonen til Stala er intet unntak. Med Trace utforsker Wingårdh den innerste essensen i den kreative prosessen: øyeblikket når en tanke blir en linje. Med et arsenal av blyanter, blekk og pensler lar Wingårdh streker og sprut flyte i forskjellige retninger og med ulik tetthet. Resultatet er syv mønstre, som enkelt kan beskrives som håndtegnede tankespor. Trace er sånn sett en dør inn i tankene til arkitekt Gert Wingårdh.“

I 2021 kunne Stala legge til enda en ny venn på listen over foretakets mange innflytelsesrike samarbeidspartnere – Matti Klenell.
“Mens jeg jobbet med nye mønstre for det innovative StalaTex-konseptet, fokuserte jeg på å lage mønstre som skaper et interiør, som skal være tydelige grafiske utropstegn i rommet.
Jeg ønsket å skape abstrakte mønstre i stor skala og sterk grafikk som er godt synlig på avstand. Jeg tror den nye kolleksjonen vil spille en sentral rolle i å skape både en interessant visuell og en funksjonell opplevelse. Jeg er overrasket over hvor friskt og nytt konseptet føles når jeg ser det implementert i ekte miljøer.
Man kunne tro at det å lage mønstre i et materiale ville skjule materialiteten, men jeg er fascinert av at det her ser det ut til å være det motsatte som skjer. Mønstrene forsterker opplevelsen av stålet på en eksklusiv måte, som jeg liker veldig godt.“
